Welcome to The Highland Hound website. These conditions apply to the use of this Website and by accessing this Website and/or placing an order you agree to be bound by the conditions set out below. If you do not agree to be bound by these conditions you may not place an order, use or access this Website.
Cancellation policy
If you wish to cancel please email us before your order has been dispatch and we will send you a cancellation form. Please see delivery and returns page.
General information
All orders are subject to acceptance and to availability of the goods ordered.
The Highland Hound is entitled to refuse and refund any order placed by you for any reason.
Prices are clearly stated on the website and vary according to size and items ordered. Prices may change without prior notice but are always clearly visible and transparent on each item.
we make every effort to display items as accurately as possible. However, we would like to point out that colours and images can vary slightly according to different monitor settings. The goods will become your responsibility when they are delivered to you or your representative.
Disclaimer
Whilst every effort has been made to test and verify suitability of our hardware and webbing, we cannot be held responsible for any incidents or accidents as a result of hardware failure and or incorrect fitting.
We recommend that the finished product is checked on a regular basis for defects/wear and tear.
We also recommend if your dog has been in salt water that you wash the collar in fresh clean water to prevent the metal and material being damaged by the salt.
By purchasing our items the customer accepts all responsibility for any incidents, accidents or loss, whatever the nature.
Faulty goods
If your goods develop a fault within 28 days of receipt please contact us to arrange return and inspection.
Generally we will exchange or refund the item provided it is found to be faulty ie hardware failure and is not faulty caused by accident, misuse or neglect.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
It's our responsibility to supply you with goods that meet your consumer rights.
If you have any concerns that we have not met out legal obligations please contact us.
We follow the consumer rights act 2015-sale of goods.

We will only use the information that we receive via your order lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
Information we receive when you order is kept private, we do not share information with any third party.
The Highland Hound is committed to protecting your privacy, we do not sell, loan, or rent any information regarding our customers to any third party.
Payments are made via Paypal, Stripe, Debit or Credit card.
We therefore do not receive your financial information. This is kept confidential by the companies.
